Story

The university was founded on October 10, 1967 as the Sverdlovsk Institute National economy(SINH) on the basis of the Faculty of Economics of the Ural State University. A.M. Gorky and Sverdlovsk branches.

First university building

About the university

In 1858, in the district city of the Perm province of Yekaterinburg, at the intersection of Monastyrskaya and Uktusskaya streets, the construction of a building for the Yekaterinburg Theological School, founded in 1833, was completed.
