Borisov State Polytechnic College began its existence in 1965 as an evening branch of the Minsk Polytechnic College.

It has existed as an independent educational institution since June 1968. It was then that the Borisov Polytechnic College was created.

In 2000, the technical school was transformed into Borisov State Polytechnic College.

The educational institution went through the following stages of formation and development: from Borisov vocational school-85 (1966) to Borisov vocational lyceum No. 1 (2001), then by merging with Borisov vocational school-121 of mechanical engineering (1974) the first in Minsk region multidisciplinary educational institution "Borisov State Polytechnic Professional Lyceum" (2002), and in 2007 - Borisov State College by merging with Borisov pedagogical college(1980).

The College has created the Museum of the History of Vocational and Secondary Specialized Education in the Minsk Region.

An agreement on international cooperation was concluded with professional lyceum No. 3 in the city of Svetly, Kaliningrad region.
