How the West is deceiving the whole world, or I learned that I have a huge country. How the West is deceiving the whole world, or I found out that I have a huge country I have a huge country

About beauty native land schoolchildren told environmentalists of the Aksu Ferroalloy Plant, a branch of TNK Kazchrome JSC, part of the Eurasian Group (ERG). In their essays, primary school students showed the world as they see it - blooming and bright, in which there is no place for grief and sadness.

A creative competition was held among primary school students high school No. 8. At this age, children’s eyes are not yet burdened with cliches and stereotypes, so in their essays boys and girls wrote about what they see: trees, clear skies, sunrises and sunsets, frogs that “talk” to each other. In their essays, the children urged adults not to litter in nature and to clean up after themselves after a picnic.

“The native land is the place where everything happens for the first time,” wrote fourth-grader Daria Sakenova, who became the winner of the creative competition.

“The dream of any parent is for their children to grow up to be worthy citizens of their country,” says her grandmother Zhanat Sakenova. – My granddaughter is moving to another school, she is sorry to leave her classmates and teachers. Therefore, having heard about this competition, we decided to support this school with our participation and leave a memory of ourselves.

Second and third places went to fifth-graders Arkhip Parkhomenko and Anastasia Mikhailyuk.

– From my window there is a very picturesque view of the forest and the Irtysh River. Every morning I hear birds singing, and right under the window frogs croak funny and grasshoppers chirp. In general, life is in full swing everywhere, and I’m interested in watching it,” says Arkhip Parkhomenko.

All competition participants received books about amazing nature Kazakhstan with bright illustrations.

– Aksu Ferroalloy Plant is a socially responsible enterprise. We do not separate our work on nature conservation from the city of Aksu, says the head of the conservation department environment Inna Davydova. “Involving the children of our employees and children from city schools in factory events is a good tradition that we have been following for several years now. Reading children's essays is a pleasure. They are so sincere, natural and positive that you want to live and rejoice simple things. Thank you to the schoolchildren for taking us back to childhood!

And here Kazakhstanis have something to be proud of - it was published at the beginning of the year three-volume "National Atlas of the Republic of Kazakhstan", which confirms the compliance of the geographical science of our country with the world level. This is a unique publication and most important event national significance: national cartographic atlases are an indispensable attribute of the sovereignty of any country. In accordance with the rule for fundamental atlases, it is accompanied by a three-volume monograph “The Republic of Kazakhstan”. A unique "cartographic encyclopedia" with will win more than 300 cards. The atlas and monograph were prepared and published by the Institute of Geography of the Ministry of Education and Science. About the role and practical significance National Atlas of the Republic of Kazakhstan, we asked one of its authors, head of the laboratory of landscape science and environmental management problems at the Institute of Geography, candidate geographical sciences Roman Vyacheslavovich Plokhikh. - Roman Vyacheslavovich, how and why did the idea of creating a National Atlas of the Republic of Kazakhstan arise?- For the first time, the idea of creating a fundamental Atlas with an accompanying monograph appeared in the process of developing the “Concept of Environmental Safety of the Republic of Kazakhstan”, carried out under the leadership of the Minister of Environmental Protection N.A. Iskakova. It was then that it became clear that the needs of practice, the high level of geographical science in Kazakhstan, the possession of the most modern technologies mapping will allow you to successfully complete such work. Any literate person can easily distinguish geographical map from other images. But defining exactly what a modern geographic atlas is is not so easy. What should it be like? What is the best way to organize your work? How to ensure its uninterrupted operation and material equipment? In solving these and many other issues, there is no doubt the merit of the director of the Institute of Geography - a famous scientist and organizer of science, academician of the International Academy of Sciences of Ecology, Human Safety and Nature (St. Petersburg), Doctor of Geographical Sciences, Professor Akhmetkal Medeu. The idea of creating a National Atlas was supported by the Ministry of Environmental Protection, and the President of Kazakhstan N.A. did not ignore it. Nazarbayev. The idea of creating an atlas received great interest and active support from the entire domestic scientific community. An important argument in favor of creating the National Atlas was the urgency of solving problems in the system “human impact on nature - changes” natural complexes- the consequences of these changes for humans and nature." Without a comprehensive analysis of the current socio-economic and environmental situation, it is impossible to determine ways to optimize the natural environment, principles and methods of rational use natural resources, areas of activity for environmental management in the republic. - What is the National Atlas and what kind of information can specialists and ordinary citizens get from it? - The National Atlas and the accompanying monograph are the result of many years of research by Kazakh scientists in various fields of science. The basis of the fundamental cartographic "encyclopedia" is a system of maps with accompanying texts, created according to a single program and united by a common purpose and means of cartographic display of reality. When creating the atlas, a tremendous amount of work was done to systematize the entire volume of knowledge and information about the territory of the republic at the current level of its knowledge. The National Atlas was developed based on the most modern scientific methods and the latest computer technologies. The most important advantage of the atlas is its extremely deep and multifaceted characteristics of Kazakhstan. That is why it can be considered as a kind of encyclopedia, which reflects the latest achievements of science, economics, history, culture, etc. Another advantage of the atlas is innovation in methodological approaches and the uniqueness of many cards. The greatest innovation, uniqueness and practical significance The third volume of the atlas is characterized, each thematic section of which includes maps that have no analogues not only in the post-Soviet space, but also in foreign atlas cartography. The atlas is developed in three volumes, each of which contains different types of thematic maps (analytical, complex, synthetic, dynamics and relationships) and explanatory texts for them. It includes all functional types of maps known in cartography: inventory, assessment, indicator, forecast and recommendation. The first volume of the atlas is devoted to the natural resource conditions for the formation environmental situation on the territory of Kazakhstan and consists of 118 maps. They display: geographical position, relief, geological structure, mineral resources, climate and agroclimatic resources, hydrogeological conditions, underground and surface waters, land resources and soils, animal and vegetable world, landscapes and physical-geographical zoning. This volume of the atlas focuses on problems of structure and development earth's crust and relief, recent tectonic movements, seismotectonic conditions, distribution of minerals, occurrence and reserves of groundwater, etc. The maps show: variability of river flow, salinity and turbidity of river waters, lake content of the territory and hydrochemistry of lake waters; the main inland reservoirs (Caspian, Aral, Balkash, Zhaisan, Alakol, Teniz) and the largest reservoirs are characterized; the morphology, regime and balance of glaciers, ice and snow reserves for the mountains of South-Eastern Kazakhstan are illustrated; features are given climatic conditions Kazakhstan in the winter and summer seasons, patterns of distribution of soil and vegetation cover on the plains and in the mountains; For the first time, the spatial distribution of many species of mammals, reptiles, birds, amphibians and fish is shown, the directions of seasonal migrations of animals, the migration of birds, the movement of fish and much more are considered. On 116 maps and explanatory texts of the second volume presents a comprehensive description of the country's socio-economic development over a period of more than 10 years. The economic development indicators of the republic confirm that the foundations of the national idea of Kazakhstan, laid down in the long-term development strategy "Kazakhstan - 2030", are being successfully implemented. Social harmony and political stability, economic progress for the benefit of the people have become the realities of our time. The list of issues addressed in the second volume is the demographic situation and the labor market, the social sphere and the standard of living of the population, the pace of development of the main industries and agriculture, the dynamics of production and the level of development of the most important sectors of the economy and social sphere, history, archeology and cultural heritage . The third volume consists of 119 maps and explanatory texts. The titles of the sections speak for themselves: factors of anthropogenic impact on the natural environment, ecological state of natural systems, desertification and land degradation, hazardous processes and emergencies, ecology and people, ecological state of regions, nature conservation and environmental safety. - What is the international rating of the Kazakhstan atlas? What useful things can foreign users find on its pages? - The question regarding the rating is not entirely correct; rather, we can talk about the degree of interest shown in the atlas and monograph. Kazakhstanis have something to be proud of here. The atlas and monograph aroused significant interest not only in the global scientific community, but also in the business community. The Institute of Geography receives many requests from foreign representatives to purchase the atlas and monograph. And these are not only our closest neighbors, such as Russian Federation and China. The following fact played an important role here - only states with high level development of science and culture are able to independently prepare such a publication. This is a very difficult, painstaking and responsible matter. The participation of leading specialists and institutions of the republic - a cartographic enterprise, research institutes of various profiles, universities and institutes, various ministries and departments - made it possible to create a publication unique in its information capacity and objectivity. Of particular interest from abroad was the issue of replicating the atlas. Cards are used in modern world to solve a wide variety of problems. For example, it is difficult to name any research in geology that could do without maps. Therefore, to list all the areas of application of the cartographic “encyclopedia” by foreign users would mean to give a complete list of research problems solved in modern science. And of course, such a list will never be complete. Let's say that the atlas and monograph have an extremely wide range of applications, from acquaintance with the Republic of Kazakhstan to in-depth scientific research and drawing up plans for the development of natural resources and the development of productive forces. The publications provide extensive information both for ordinary people and for authorities and company management. Kazakhstan, which has ancient history and an extremely diverse nature, a dynamically developing economy, a stable social and political situation, there is something to interest residents of foreign countries. The Republic has a large number of areas attractive to foreign investors. For example, it is very promising for the development of international tourism. But before the publication of the Atlas, many unique natural areas countries were simply “terra incognita” because they did not have detailed and widely available maps. It is difficult to overestimate the practical significance of the Atlas and the accompanying monograph. Let me emphasize once again: they are a significant confirmation of the compliance of Kazakhstan’s science with world standards. The National Atlas and the monograph clearly demonstrate that positive trends in stabilizing the growth and development of the domestic economy, increasing the level of well-being of the population, strengthening economic and environmental security, and increasing the country's competitiveness on the world stage are developing and strengthening today. And this publication will be a good help to everyone who wants to learn more about their country and work for its benefit. Photo from the site www.gisa.ru

Yuri Petrovich Paisov believes that patriotic education, by and large, allows “to show how beautiful our country is, our nature, so that children want to live here.” This is what he dedicated his life to

He works as a biology teacher at Almaty school No. 105, which I must say is one of the best in the city. She has a quarter of a century of teaching experience and has been involved in children’s tourism for almost as long. Also in Soviet times completed courses at the Republican Station for Young Tourists. Then in Almaty there was a state children's club "Romantic". Then it was closed, they decided that children in Kazakhstan did not need tourism - it was not an Olympic sport, but the club was revived on a voluntary basis, and Yuri Petrovich has been working there for eight years. The love for hiking arose while studying in Tomsk state university. Then, as a student at the Faculty of Biology, Paisov traveled Soviet Union. Now he has his whole summer booked. One or two days at home and then off again.

Snow leopard and bear cakes

About three dozen routes of varying difficulty have been developed. Among them are one-day, multi-day, excursion, and sports. It all depends on the preparation and state of health of the child, age – no younger than 11–12 years.
The Lunny and Temerlik canyons are magnificent, and the wild places on the border with China are interesting. There are many animals there. “One day we were walking along the path,” says Yuri Petrovich, “and the guys said to me: “Where do these cow pats come from?” I answer: “These are not cow pats, but bear pats, a clubfoot just passed here.” They came out onto the path to meet us deer. There was a funny incident. We, tired, stopped for a rest, and the girls went to the river to swim. Suddenly their squeal is heard, we run there, we see, 20 meters away from them, two huge deer drinking water. They are in their kingdom and they don’t care about people. On another expedition, there, at a watering hole, they saw a snow leopard. It happened that argali came right up to the tent.
One day we were caught in a hailstorm, and we walked ankle-deep in slippery transparent balls that covered the green grass.
Last year, after crossing the ridge, we ended up in the Kyrgyz Chon Kimin valley. We went to the bridge, and it was destroyed. To get to the other side, it was necessary to make a detour of about 30 kilometers to the next bridge. The shepherds rode up on horses and said: “We will transport you across the river on horses.” I doubted it, but they did everything to avoid danger. The children were placed in the saddles. Can you imagine how much fun it was for them to cross the river on horseback? It was the first time in my life that I crossed over in this way. After that, the guys began to say that we need to learn the Kazakh language. When we meet with the local population in the mountains, many do not speak Russian, and the children, feeling limited in communication, realized that they had lost a lot of interesting things. Here, too, is the education of patriotism, not with posters, not with calls...”
Now Paisov has multi-day sports hikes, interesting routes in the Dzhambul and South Kazakhstan regions, in Zharkent, in the gorges near Almaty. Here their stories are definitely told, for example, where the names Butakovka and Remizovka came from. At one time, General Kolpakovsky, the first governor of the Semirechensky region, prohibited cutting down forests and placed detachments of Cossacks, commanded by lieutenants Remizov and Butakov, to guard it in every gorge...

Don't have a hundred rubles, but have a hundred students

Yuri Petrovich considers it unacceptable that now many companies take children on excursions simply with guides. “There is a clear order from the Department of Education,” he explains, “which says that it is strictly prohibited to take children out without special permission. Our club has such permission. I was issued a certificate from the akimat of the city of Almaty. And also, if the trip is more than one day, they must medical certificates are provided. When parents ask me: “Do you guarantee safety?”, I answer: I don’t guarantee, I provide. The instructor on the hike is dad, mom, grandma, grandpa, doctor and teacher rolled into one. We take care of children seriously and professionally: at a rest stop we make a fire, put on tea from spring water, be sure to eat something hot, borscht or soup. We don’t take canned food. At home the guys make preparations: the meat is stewed with carrots, onions, and then everything is cooked quickly on the fire and tasty".
Now Yuri Petrovich is collecting material, preparing a project on ecology with the guys, and wants to do an analysis of Kazakhstan’s national parks. “It’s a pity to look at nature in our parks,” complains Yuri Petrovich. “A person believes that under every bush there is a table and a home ready for him, and therefore he behaves barbarously. There are also good farms, an example of this is “Altyn-Emel” park “ Kolsai Lakes", where everything is organized according to Western standards, but, unfortunately, there are few of them.
No control. They all justify this by lack of funds. Where do the funds that we pay for travel to the park go? If everything is done wisely, it would be possible to have a good income and maintain the park in proper condition. Everything is very simple. People are driving, give them a plastic bag and write down the car number. And when they return, they must show a bag of garbage. This is how it is done in the West.
We want to analyze all this, then, together with the video material and conclusions, transfer it to our environmental department. Isn't this a patriotic action?"
Yuri Petrovich's motto is “Don’t have a hundred rubles, but have a hundred students.” Although he has much more of them and it would be possible to organize a “Club of Paisov’s students.” Even those who graduated from school communicate with him, and he calls them not former, but adult students. It would be very interesting to tell how Paisov teaches biology lessons using in English, But that is another story.

How the West is deceiving the whole world, or

I found out that I have a huge country

You know, perhaps the worst thing is that
with how easily we lost the peace that seemed so stable.
.

Today my wife’s friend, who lives in Canada, came to visit. She came to Russia to visit.

General conclusion from a conversation with her: the vast majority of stories about heavenly life in the West are myths. Medicine, kindergartens, schools, places of residence and recreation, culture, food - are head and shoulders above in Russia. The roads are the same, both ours and theirs. Corruption is prohibited only for the lower part of society. At the top it not only flourishes, but is also legitimized in every possible way. The general level of “braininess” is at the level of the middle zone of some Central Asian republic.

The majority of the population are migrants. A significant part of them are the notorious middle class. The West is now relying on them. But the more of them there are, the lower the overall standard of living (since the indigenous population and previous migrants are not going anywhere).

About the main way domestic policy- tying the population hand and foot with loans. A mortgage, for example, although with a small interest rate, is expensive, repayment terms are long and there is no right to repay early. Take it once and consider it for the rest of your life. Those who do not take out a mortgage take out loans in other “areas”: cars, education, medicine, etc.

Therefore, from the outside, the people seem to be living well, but the slightest sneeze can send half the country to the streets.

Income segregation is not just developed exponentially, it is reinforced in every possible way through various rules and laws. If you have little money, you will live in a bad area, your children will go to a bad school, you will eat bad food and cure all your diseases with one “magic” aspirin tablet. If you live in a good area, but have begun to earn little, then the tax system will quickly send you to an area that is “affordable”.

In general, it seems that all paths are open to you, but in fact, numerous conditions, laws and restrictions make the option of “rising” honestly almost impossible. Hence the main advantage of migrants: the knowledge they received in their homeland for free or very cheap allows them to immediately begin living in the West much better than the majority of the local population. This is what democracy is like.

What is the prosperity of the West based on?

On two factors.

First. Life model called "Vacuum Cleaner": The West is sucking all the juice out of the rest of the world. Main flows: people, resources, money. If even one stream dries up, the well-being of the West will collapse.

Second. Tricky PR: Western “PR people” talk not about how good they are, but about how bad others are. The fact that everything is fine with them is already figured out independently by those to whom they tell that everything is bad with them.

It’s as if a complete drunk came to the average person who drinks a little on holidays and on weekends, and began to tell him that alcohol is harmful and its presence in the house is a problem that needs to be dealt with somehow . In the understanding of a normal person, a citizen who talks about the dangers of alcohol does not drink himself. Therefore, if someone tells him about the dangers of alcohol, he automatically begins to consider him a non-drinker! Otherwise, he thinks normal person What right does he have to tell me about the dangers of alcohol?

This is what cunning Western PR is all about: tell others how bad everything is for them, even if the same thing is even worse for you, and they will automatically begin to assume that everything is fine with you, and that you yourself are a ready-made example to follow!

Things with the main Western horror stories - the lack of democracy and freedom of speech - in the West itself are catastrophic: the majority of the population has no influence on what is happening in the state, everything is “ruled” by representatives of several clans, which, to give the appearance of competition, are conditionally divided into two (less often three teams), and numerous media outlets tell people about all this, the main materials of which look like a bad rewrite of one source code.

If we take a special Western horror story for Russia - corruption - then in the West itself the situation with corruption has reached the point of absurdity: there corruption has already been elevated to the rank of laws! A bribe in Russia is a criminal offense, a bribe in the West is part of the advertising budget.

The West uses this kind of “PR” in everything. This provides an ideological justification for siphoning resources from the rest of the world: you think that everything is fine with us, so your best representatives come to us, you also send your money to us, and your resources in “raw” form also go to us, because you don’t build enterprises that process and make something complex from “raw” resources, because your private companies do not have the money for this (we have them all), and you do not trust your state with such construction, believing that it is useless, since everything they will steal and the money will be wasted. And for those who do not believe us and create some things, we will close our market and the markets of subordinate states and doom them to exist somehow within the framework of the modest remaining ones.

In my opinion, there is only one way to reduce the effectiveness of this cunning Western “PR” to zero in Russia: turn to face the person.

We have everything, we just need to establish service and maintenance. It is necessary to put at the forefront not indicators, records and achievements, but human comfort.

Nowadays, in any government institution, I feel not only uncomfortable, but wildly inconvenient, difficult and mostly incomprehensible. Moreover, this approach also applies to large private companies.

For example, I recently tried in, with, and Google Adsense. On Facebook and Google Adsense it took me about ten minutes and the main inconvenience was the need to go to my wallet for a credit card, since I don’t know its details by memory. Mail.ru with Odnoklassniki, VKontakte and Yandex.Direct with absolutely the same ad, with the same text and title, with the same advertised page, hovered over my brain for two days.

As a result, after two days of correspondence, I was able to place an advertisement only on VKontakte!

Imagine if our Internet companies thought about the comfort of their users: Yandex would not have languished now in Turkey, but would have competed with all over the world, VKontakte and Odnoklassniki together put all sorts of Facebook in their belts, and Mail.ru became something like .

I'm not even talking about what would happen if the head of some housing and communal services, the director of AvtoVAZ or the chairman of the Russian Football Union thought about the comfort of people.

There is no need to try to defeat the West by economic, military or any other physical indicators. They are still exaggerated, based on cunning PR, and therefore such a strategy will obviously be a losing one. You need to think about the comfort of your own citizens, then the citizens will forget about the West and the dream of the party workers of the USSR will come true - the West will become decaying.

But then, we won’t give a damn. Because in this case Russia will become the most beautiful state on the planet.
